Welcome to the Center for Good Governance’s website.

We are delighted to introduce The Center for Good Governance, a new center whose objective is to build capacities for good governance through concept development, applied research and training.  Our activities are intended to help countries Identify governance problem and support them by policy suggestions regarding governance issues for transitions to democracy. 

The Center for Good Governance is a nonpartisan research center for advanced study and a neutral forum for open discussion and informed dialogue. It brings pre-eminent thinkers to an equal chance, non discriminatory, nonpartisan common platform to interact with policymakers through a large number of activities, programs and projects.
The activities and services of the Center will be provided by it’s self volunteered staff and by Associates who are experts and practitioners selected from government, non-governmental organizations and universities.  Our staff will provide exceptional support that will enable its Associates to carry out activities relating to good governance awareness for application in our government and also to share governance related experience with other governments.
The Center for Good Governance has been established as a nonprofit organization to foster research and policy support to improve the quality of governance in our country. Above everything our mission is to voice the demand of our people for good governance, accountable governance and people’s participation in governance. In the coming months we will be broadening our Board of advisors from all professions including the corporate body to help ensure that the Center has the appropriate advice, local and international networks and financial resources needed to carry out its activities.
We ask your cooperation in helping us strengthen The Center for Good Governance and invite your participation in its activities. 
This website is an important part of our efforts to connect our programs and activities to a national and international audience. On the site you will find news articles discussing recent events at the Center, a calendar of upcoming events, information on our many activities and programs. The CGG Monthly magazine, lecture  series, Audio-Visual Materials related to good governance, Round Table Conference, seminars and interviews conducted by our Dialogue program, and many more.

The design of the site is supported by IT Division -IDT and was intended to make this site more user-friendly, informative, and engaging. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
